Road of Service

“There is no greater challenge, and no greater honour, than to be in service.”

Via Servilis, also known as the Road of Service, guides its followers into the understanding that only actions taken in service of others are worthy, and only such acts will make one strong enough to hold off the Beast’s ravenous hunger.  While such followers make valuable servants, they are far from mindless thralls, and are quite capable of changing masters should their initial choice prove unworthy.

Core Tenet: Service to others is the only shield against the beast. Your own judgement is flawed by its taint, rely on others for you cannot rely on yourself.

Possible Additional Tenets:

• My life is for the protection of my masters. I shall offer it for their glory.

• I serve a community*, and in doing so it shields me. I shall seek to make the lives of those around me better.

• I shall leave no crime against those I serve go unpunished, no matter the cost.

• I seek the wisdom of those I serve in all things. Their words are true.

• The needs of the many outweigh my own needs; I shall seek to see to them.
