Road of Humanity

“The line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes — but right through every human heart.”

Followers of Via Humanitatis use the human condition to fight their Beast, remembering that they were ordinary mortals before being bestowed with Caine's curse. They place an emphasis on human virtues such as freedom, the human heart and soul, and on reason and intelligence as a separator of man from beast.  

Core Tenet: Always act with compassion, for it is the only true shield against the Beast.

Possible Additional Tenets:

• I was human once, and to remain myself I must act as if that is still true.

• I must aid my community, both Kindred and Kine, for it shelters me, and allows me succour.

• To remain human, I must constantly reflect on what it means to be human.

• I must not separate myself from Humanity, for to hide from it is to hide from what it means to be human.

• I am more than a monster; I will be better than all others to make up for their failings.
