Feeding Checks
The STs will make a check for each character at the end of downtime, to see how well they have fed, or convinced their Domitor for more Vitae than the bare minimum, during this period. This will determine the character’s Hunger at the start of each session. This check will be modified by things like Herd, the number of Ghouls a character needs to feed, and Assets or Tolls which affect feeding, as well as other factors.
The number of successes gained on that check will dictate the character’s Hunger. However, it is only possible to get to Full on the Hunger track by draining non-animal victims dry and killing them. Without this, the most full that any character can get on their track is equal to their Max Hunger Track minus their Blood Effectiveness rating, minimum 1. Naturally, ghouls do not have this restriction.
As an example, an 8th generation Master Elder (Blood Effectiveness 3) has a Hunger track of 7 steps, however they will only be able to fill this to just over half (4) without killing their victims, regardless of how successful they are at feeding.
