Domains of Bohemia
Domain Information
This information may be considered public knowledge for any character who feels they would have a reason to know it. A character who has never been to Bavaria before may know less than somebody who has dwelt in the area for centuries, but we leave that up to player discretion.
Each Domain has the holder of Praxis mentioned, and the normal location where Court is normally held (if there is one), as well as a brief description. This description, being a summary of public opinion, may be biased!
Domain Key
Duchy of Bohemia (Left, Green)
Moravia (Right, Blue)
Duchy of Bohemia
Held by: Wódz Samboja Wiater of Clan Tzimisce
Primary Court: Prague
Overview
Formerly held by Siegfried of the Ventrue, the Praxis of Bohemia was claimed by its current Prince following an invasion of the territory from Poland around 1070 AD. In sharp contrast to the former ‘Court of Letters’ where flattery, pandering and fashionable fads were rife, the new Prince has stripped almost all of the pomp and pageantry from Court meetings and events, insisting only on the proper use of titles and acknowledgement of status.
Early indications suggest that this new Court and Prince lean towards utilitarian and practical goals and methods, with a focus on ensuring that the Domain is secure and prosperous.
Notable Denizens: Haiko Vom Kullack of Clan Ventrue (Master of War), Gedric Souleater of Clan Gangrel (Master of the Hunt), Richgardis Valerii Lucientius of Clan Cappadocian (Master of Commerce).
Moravia
Held by: Prince Selina of Clan Brujah, often called Dark Selina.
Primary Court: Olmitz
Overview
That the domain of Moravia has some martial aspects to it will come as no surprise to anyone who has met an elder Brujah. Ritual combat is often used to resolve challenges and disputes, while the Prince herself usually deals directly with those who require punishment, including execution.
However despite this, the regular business of the Court in Olmitz is usually far more philosophical in nature. Once announcements have been made and disputes resolved, attendees are expected to debate great philosophical truths. Favour, Boons and even Status can be earned by making clever arguments that have not been heard before, even if one does not win said debates.
